TEAM NIGERIA GO FOR GOLD IN GOLD COAST

The Nigeria Senior Men’s National basketball team D’Tigers departed Nigeria on Friday 23rd March 2018 for Gold Coast Australia for the XXI Commonwealth Games which will be held in Gold Coast, Australia from 4 April 2018 to 15 April 2018.
The team is made up of 6 home based and 6 foreign based players among which is Lagos City Stars Forward, Graham Olalekan Olatunji.
The team is coached by Alex Nwora who will be assisted by Abdulraham Mohammed and Aderemi Adewumi.
Other officials to Gold Coast include the Vice President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Mr. Babs Ogunade and Secretary of the Federation, Mr. Chimezie Asiegbu.
The team will play its 1st game in Group B against New Zealand on Friday 6th April, 2018. Other teams in the Group are Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
