Last night was a memorable one in the history of the playoffs as records were shattered and new ones set.

It was game two of the NBA Finals in Oakland home of the Golden State Warriors.

The Dubs had earlier defeated the Cavaliers in game one in a controversial game that stirred up debates on corruption among referees in the NBA. Lebron James was charged for blocking Kevin Durant and the latter made the two free throws with just seconds to go to tie the game which went into overtime. The Dubs won the game in the end.

Last night, the Golden State Warriors took the lead from the start of the game and never looked back. In that game, Stephen Curry scored a record breaking 9 three point field goals out of 17 attempted to break the previous record of 8 three point field goals made set by Ray Allen. Meanwhile, Klay Thompson played his 100th career postseason game which was most in the Warriors’ history.

The King, Lebron James was also in the record book as he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for 2nd most points scored in the history of the Finals.
